Hello Adventurers,
Whilst out and about on our adventures this week, we found the most magnificent pile of rocks. There were around 8 in total, so we found some sturdy sticks and got or nature beat on. We spent the morning making fun nature music by singing songs and drumming. Afterwards they provided us with a perfect sitting area for our morning snack and drink.
Music play is great for Children’s development as it encourages language deveopment, story telling through song, creativity, hand eye coordination, rhythm, timing and movement. It has been suggested that it may also help with self-esteem to. Drumming really gives their fine motor skills a work out and alongside all of these wonderful benefits it’s also a whole heap of fun to!
