Imaginative Play

Hello Adventurers,

Whilst out and about on our adventures with fresh air in our lungs and bird song for company we found the most beautiful piece of tree stump. This led to a very happy morning of imaginative play, building, destroying and rebuilding (repeatedly) a camp fire which was lots of fun. We found bark for coal and small sticks and were full up after cooking breakfast, making cups of coffee and toasting marshmallows. It’s amazing how a few simple items can evolve into a wholesome game, developing the imagination and sparking joy. Imaginative play is great for Children’s development as it encourages language deveopment, story telling, problem solving, decision making and sparks their creativity, a truly wonderful way to spend the morning.
